My Career
I wasn’t born a high performer — I built one.
I started as a C-average student, earned a degree in Criminal Justice, and took my first job in a call center. From there, I learned to code, became a programmer, and eventually moved into consulting, spending more than 20 years with a Big Four firm and the largest public-sector consulting organization in the world.
That journey taught me that success doesn’t come from shortcuts or titles — it comes from consistent effort, clear values, and a commitment to growth. Today, as a small business owner and founder of A-Game Consulting, I help others develop the same mindset — aligning values, structure, and execution to transform potential into performance.
Martial Arts
My pursuit of mastery began long before the boardroom.
I started strength training at 13, took up boxing at 18, and began my journey in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at 23. Over the years, the mat became my greatest teacher — revealing that growth in martial arts and life follows the same path: start where you are, master the fundamentals, and refine relentlessly.
That process carried me from effective to efficient, from proficient to optimized, and eventually to black belt — not through talent, but through persistence, humility, and learning to start over stronger each time.
Those lessons became the foundation of the A-Game Framework, uniting the art and science of performance — helping people, teams, and organizations achieve mastery in their own arenas.
